As part of the infamous Carrera collection, this watch was designed for those wanting a sport's watch with an edge. New to 2014, this model uses crystal glass cut from a polished slice of solid sapphire that has been created by the fusion and crystallization of alumina. In addition, faceted and polished gold plated hour and minute hands, a gold plated seconds hand, hand-applied gold plated date window at 3 o'clock, hand-applied polished and fine-brushed faceted gold plated indexes as well as a hand-applied TAG Heuer logo. The bezel is polished 18-carat solid gold.
