The Rolex Sea-Dweller 16600 with the rare "Swiss Only" dial is a transitional model produced briefly around 1999, marking Rolex's switch to Super-LumiNova lume. This dial variation is highly sought after by collectors due to its clean “SWISS” text at 6 o’clock—omitting the typical "SWISS MADE"—and its short production run. Housed in a robust 40mm stainless steel case with a helium escape valve, it retains the tool-watch pedigree while offering subtle dial nuance that sets it apart in the Sea-Dweller lineage.
