A stunning piece of technology by Breguet again, the Hora Mundi is the worlds first mechanical watch to be able to instantly jump time-zones without interfering with the set up of the watch. Made in 18ct Rose Gold it measures 43mm and houses a calibre 77FO automatic movement that has a frequency of 4.0Hz, 39 jewels and a minimum power reserve of 55 hours. The movement of this incredible watch can change instantly between two pre-set time-zones simply by the push of a button, but not only does it change the time but also the date and the city indicator. The dial features a hand enameled picture depicting the European & African continents, there is an outer track for seconds and an inner track marked by roman numerals for the time. At the top of the dial is a date aperture and at the bottom a city indicator, there is also a pictorial day/night indicator situated at 3 o'clock. Both the front and the exhibition back of this watch has sapphire crystal glass and the overall water resistance is 30m, finished on a brown leather strap with rose gold deployment clasp this piece is not simply a watch. It is a piece of art work, a fine feat of a technology and it deserves a place of it's own in the world of horology, a must for any serious collector.
