Rolex 16610LV ‘Flat 4’ Submariner Date Kermit 50th Anniversary Watch

We are pleased to offer this highly collectible Rolex 16610LV Flat 4 Submariner Date ‘Kermit’ 50th Anniversary Watch. This particular watch has the original Rolex box, booklets and the official Rolex stamped paperwork dated in January 2006.

A highly desirable early D-serial (2005) Rolex Submariner 16610LV “Kermit,” distinguished by its factory-fitted Flat 4 bezel insert — a hallmark of the very first anniversary Submariners. The Flat 4 is identified by the broad, flat-topped “4” in “40,” creating a rectangular opening rather than the pointed style of later service inserts.

While Flat 4 inserts are typically associated with Y- and early F-serials, Rolex’s overlapping parts usage meant that some early D-serials also left the factory with this rare insert, making them particularly appealing to collectors as transitional pieces.

This watch features a 40 mm Oystersteel case, black maxi-dial with Chromalight hour markers, and the robust calibre 3135 automatic movement. Fitted to the solid-link Oyster bracelet with Oysterlock clasp, it combines durability with timeless Submariner design.

This watch has recently undergone a comprehensive service carried out by our British Horological Institute–accredited watchmaker in July 2025. Following the service, it has been meticulously tested to ensure exceptional performance and reliability. For added assurance, the watch is now covered by our full 24‑month warranty.
