With its slim bezel, slender lugs and its clean silver-toned case housing a chronometer-certified self-winding movement, this vintage-inspired timepiece reflects the spirit of the golden age of travel. The black dial provides an eye-catching display of the date at 3 o’clock, and displays the day through an arc-shaped aperture at 12 o’clock. This model is accented with applied hour-markers, and a discreet cross-shaped dial feature which provides a subtle nod to the original Transocean model – an acknowledged classic in Swiss watchmaking launched in 1958 and which accompanied the boom in intercontinental air travel. Since 1884, Breitling have been a specialist in technical watches, and today are the official supplier to world aviation.
