In 1810 Breguet created the world's firt wristwatch for Caroline Murat, the Queen of Naples, today the watches that are made are in honor of that piece, and they are still technically excellent and undeniably beautiful. Made in solid 18ct White Gold the unusual shape measures 36.50mm by 28.45mm and houses a calibre 537/1 automatic movement which beats at 3hz has 20 jewels and minimum power reserve of 40 hours. The bezel and inner flange is set with 117 round brilliant diamonds weighing a total of 0.99ct G Colour VVs1 clarity, the dial mother of pearl dial features a round silvered gold dial, hand engraved on a rose engine which marks the minutes, blue hands and a pear cut G VVs1 diamond weighing 0.09carat. The Arabic numbers are unique to Breguet and the crown is finished with a stunning briolette cut diamond weighing 0.26 carat G VVs1. Both the front and the exhibition back are sealed with sapphire crystal glass and the overall water resistance of the watch is 30m, the piece is finished on a beautiful black satin strap with diamond set pin buckle clasp. This is not just a watch it is a stunning work or art and unique piece of jewellery; a true a collectors piece.
